Ingredients
- 175 g flour
- 80 g sugar
- 120 g water
- 50 g oil
- 12 g baking powder (or 70 g sourdough starter)
- 2 apples, sliced
- 10 g vanilla powder optional
Instructions
- To a bowl, add all ingredients (except for the apples), and mix until homogenous. (Do not overmix).
- Add sliced apples and gently fold into batter.
- Transfer batter to a prepared cake pan (lined with parchment paper). Spread batter evenly.
- Top cake with sliced apple.
- Bake in preheated oven at 180 °C for 55 minutes (or until a toothpick inserted in the middle of cake comes out clean).
